The majority of our wedding budget was the location. Of all of the details I cared about this was my highest priority. After all, how do you top an engagement at the pyramids in Egypt?!
When we saw Le Gallerie we were instantly sold.
THIS was what we wanted to be the backdrop for our wedding. THIS is what we wanted to see when looking back at pictures years from now.
So how about I show you around:
The minute you step into the front doors you face a porch with two dining tables where we ate most of our meals.
There were also benches and chairs for relaxing and reading.
The Living Room
Oversized chairs made a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee on a rainy morning.
It was also transformed into our reception location. One room, many uses!
All about the view.
The porch was also a wonderful location for wedding morning yoga with the girls.
Sure we had some birds flying in to steal morsels off unattended plates. Sure we had to throw away cereal in the pantry because the ants found it. Sure the bread bag was knocked off the counter and eaten through. That’s what keeps things exciting!
Oh you know, just your standard infinity pool with Caribbean view…
The pool was utilized quite a bit. These two could have stayed in there forever!
The adjacent gazebo was great for enjoying lunch, chatting and once again…yoga.
The house has 5 bedrooms and at max can sleep 13 people. Only two of the rooms have AC with the rest are open-air.
I took one with AC in order to set me up for success during the wedding beautification process. Fresh flowers appeared on the bed each day.
And my view waking up wasn’t too shabby either.
As you can see, we were by no means roughing it. The villa was amazing. A scenic backdrop for the week’s events!
I want to know…
