This week was a bit of a diversion from the norm what with leaving the country and all, but we still managed to make time for some physical activity.

SUNDAY

Rainforest hike at Fond Doux.

MONDAY

I had printed out some “no equipment needed” workouts on index cards and brought them along on the trip. Especially with all the delectably fruity cocktails we’d been consuming we felt as thought some extra movement would be beneficial.

We quickly found that in this humidity it didn’t take much to work up a nice sweat. 131

FRIDAY

Back in chilly Baltimore I had to throw on long sleeves for the first time in a long time before heading out the door for our 7am run. Remember earlier in the week when we were in the tropics?!

We kept it simple with our usual route:

SATURDAY

We spent the day cleaning and doing chores around the house, including projects that we’ve neglected for a while now. Before dinner we managed to get in some weight-work with a PBFingers holiday-appropriate circuit:

It’s been awhile since we’ve done weights and after two rounds that was evident. The squat pulses although seemingly simple at first quickly caught up with us. Looking forward to getting back in the swing of things this week!
