The start of this week brought upon a last minute trip home to New York. Z and I had beautiful weather for the drive up and enjoyed plenty of Hunger Games audiobook listening (we’re well into the third and final book now!).
Although the trip home was short it was nice to spend time with family. Some of whom we’ve seen recently…
And others that it’s been awhile.
My Uncle Jeff and Aunt Beata were there as well but left first thing in the morning before picture taking occurred. They currently live in Cape Cod and assured me that early fall is the optimal time to visit the area (hint hint).
This was the first time that Z got to meet my extended family. It seems only appropriate after last month’s reunion.
Before heading back to Maryland we engaged in some unique family bonding time, taking turns test driving the new lawn mower.
Had to take this for his family members who work for John Deere!
Yup, we certainly know how to have a good time in Salt Point.
A whirlwind trip, but a good one!
Question of the day: Does your family have any activities that you enjoy doing together that you’d consider unique?
