After a lazy morning hanging around the house, sipping french vanilla coffee, we decided to take our out-of-town guests on a walking tour of Fells. Since this was Victoria’s first time in Baltimore we figured it was a must. Although the temps were in the upper 80s already we braved it and set out for a waterside stroll.
We then strolled through the Fells Point Farmer’s Market. It’s quaint, but has everything we need.
We usually hit up the Three Springs Fruit Farm stand. We’ve gotten some delicious apples there before as well as no-sugar added tart cherry juice. Mom picked up from peaches to take with them on the car ride home.
Our walking tour ended with some much needed refreshment.
We asked the vendor at the stand if people were actually buying the hot coffee he had, and surprisingly he said yes! Go figure.
We plan on hanging around the house (in the AC) until it’s time for me to head to work. Kevin, Victoria and mom are going to come visit me at work before making the drive back up north. It was fun to see Kevin and Victoria seeing as how it’s been ages since we were all in the same place at the same time. And as for my mom, well I get to see her again in just a couple days when Zach and I venture north to spend my birthday in New York!
(p.s. High temps in NY next week are in the lower 80s. Can you imagine? Sweet sweet relief!)
Hope everyone’s surviving the heat wave. Stay cool!
